KRKrea image model

Krea 2. Three sizes, from textured to fast.

Krea's image model in three sizes: Large for a rawer, more textured look, Medium for consistent everyday work, and Medium Turbo for fast iteration.

  • Large, Medium, Medium Turbo
  • 1K
  • 7 aspect ratios
  • 1 reference image
  • Seed

Krea 2 comes in three sizes. Krea 2 Large is more than twice the size of Medium, with lighter post-training that gives images a rawer, more textured character. Krea 2 Medium is the balanced, cost-efficient starting point, tuned for stable, consistent results. Krea 2 Medium Turbo is distilled from Medium for speed, built for rapid iteration and graphic design exploration.

All three render at 1K in seven aspect ratios, take one reference image to edit from, and have a seed for repeatable results. In our tests a 1024 pixel square took 34 seconds on Large, 27 on Medium and 17 on Medium Turbo, and billed 6, 3 and 1.5 cents. On Treza all three run in chat and in the Image Generation node's model picker.

Three sizes

Large for texture and character, Medium for consistency, Medium Turbo for speed. Switch with one dropdown and keep the prompt.

From 1.5 cents an image

6 cents on Large, 3 on Medium and 1.5 on Medium Turbo in our tests, so exploring a direction costs very little.

Edits from a reference

Give it one photo and describe the change: the same shirt on a marble counter, the same product in new light.

Seven aspect ratios

1:1, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, 4:5, 2:3 and 9:16, covering feeds, portraits and widescreen.

Repeatable with a seed

Fix the seed to re-run an image you like with a small prompt change, instead of rolling a new one.

What to make with Krea 2

Real prompts, and what comes back. Every one runs in Treza chat or as a node on the canvas.

“A ceramic cup of coffee on a sunlit wooden cafe table, steam rising, shallow depth of field”

A textured, film-like still on Large.

“Twelve logo directions for a coffee roaster, on Medium Turbo”

A fast batch to explore graphic ideas.

“A 4:5 portrait of a ceramicist at her wheel, window light, on Large”

A rawer, textured portrait for a feed.

“A 16:9 product banner of headphones on a concrete plinth, on Medium”

A consistent, clean commercial still.

“The same banner with seed fixed and the plinth changed to marble”

A controlled variation of an image you liked.

“A 9:16 poster of a jazz night with bold shapes, on Medium Turbo”

A quick vertical design draft.

Krea 2 is one node on a canvas

Chain it with language, image, and video models, then publish the whole pipeline as an API. See how a full AI video pipeline fits together.

  1. Step 01

    Draft the brief

A language model node expands a one-line idea into a detailed, on-brand prompt before it ever reaches the model.

  2. Step 02

    Generate with Krea 2

Run variants in parallel, compare against other models on the same prompt, and keep every result in run history.

  3. Step 03

    Publish it as an API

The pipeline becomes a versioned endpoint. Your product calls it with the typed /invoke API or any OpenAI SDK.

Krea 2 as an API, priced per image

The Krea 2 API

Build a pipeline with Krea 2 on a node and publish it. It becomes a versioned HTTP endpoint: the typed /invoke route enqueues a run and returns a run id to poll, and an OpenAI-compatible route works with SDKs you already use. Agents connect over MCP the same way. Your prompt engineering ships inside the pipeline, so every caller gets your quality, and swapping the model later does not change the API your product calls.

Krea 2 pricing

Prepaid credits, no subscription. Each image is charged at Krea 2's own rate from your balance, shown before you run, and a failed generation costs nothing. Credit packs start at $5 and never expire, which suits spiky production schedules. Run history records the cost of every generation, per node, so spend is auditable rather than a surprise.

Krea 2, answered

Which Krea 2 size should I use?

Medium Turbo to explore quickly, Medium for consistent everyday images, and Large when you want a rawer, more textured look. In our tests they took 17, 27 and 34 seconds per image.

What does Krea 2 cost?

OpenRouter lists no per-image price for Krea 2. Our 1K tests billed 6 cents on Large, 3 on Medium and 1.5 on Medium Turbo, and Treza quotes those amounts before a run. It bills from prepaid credits, and a failed generation costs nothing.

What resolution does Krea 2 render?

1K, which is the only resolution it offers. A square came back at 1024 by 1024 pixels in our tests. Choose the aspect ratio on the node.

How much does Krea 2 cost on Treza?

Treza uses prepaid credits with no subscription. Each image is charged at Krea 2's rate from your balance, and only successful generations are charged. Credit packs start at $5 and never expire.

Can I call Krea 2 through an API?

Yes. Build a pipeline that uses Krea 2 and publish it as a versioned HTTP endpoint. Call the typed /invoke API from your product, or point any OpenAI SDK at the OpenAI-compatible endpoint. If a better model ships later, swap it on the node without changing the API your product calls.
