TBTBC video model

Mischief 1. Animate a still for half a cent a second.

TBC's Mischief 1 turns one image into a silent 3 or 5 second 16:9 clip, at the lowest per-second price on Treza.

  • 3 to 5 second clips
  • 16:9
  • First frame control

Mischief 1 is an image to video model from TBC (The Biological Computing Co.). You hand it a still as the first frame and a prompt for what happens next, and it renders a 3 or 5 second 16:9 clip at 480p or 720p. It needs that image: a prompt on its own is refused. OpenRouter lists half a cent per second at 480p and one cent at 720p, so a 5 second 720p clip is about 5 cents.

In our test a 3 second clip from a product photo took 19 seconds, billed exactly the listed 1.5 cents, and came back at 832 by 480 pixels, 16 frames a second, with no audio track. On Treza it sits in the Video Generation node's picker with an image wired into it, and you can ask for it by name in chat with an image to animate.

The lowest price per second

Half a cent per second at 480p and one cent at 720p. A 3 second test clip billed 1.5 cents, so drafting a dozen shots costs less than one clip on most models.

Start from your still

Every clip opens on the image you give it, so a product photo or a generated frame keeps its composition while the prompt moves the camera and the scene.

Short takes

3 or 5 seconds per clip. Enough for a social beat or a cutaway, and the Sequence node stitches several into a longer piece.

Silent by design

Clips come back without sound, ready for a voiceover or a music bed from the rest of the pipeline.

What to make with Mischief 1

Real prompts, and what comes back. Every one runs in Treza chat or as a node on the canvas.

“Animate this product photo (attached): slow push-in, a latte slides into frame”

Image to video that keeps your framing.

“This still (attached): the camera drifts left, soft morning light”

A gentle move on a generated frame.

“This landscape (attached): clouds roll over the hills, 5 seconds”

An establishing shot from one photo.

“This storefront photo (attached): people walk past, slow dolly forward”

Life added to a static shot.

“This illustration (attached): leaves fall and the lamp flickers”

A small loop for a story scene.

“This product flat lay (attached): slow overhead rotation”

A cheap draft before a final on a bigger model.

Mischief 1 is one node on a canvas

Chain it with language, image, and video models, then publish the whole pipeline as an API. See how a full AI video pipeline fits together.

  1. Step 01

    Draft the brief

A language model node expands a one-line idea into a detailed, on-brand prompt before it ever reaches the model.

  2. Step 02

    Generate with Mischief 1

Run variants in parallel, compare against other models on the same prompt, and keep every result in run history.

  3. Step 03

    Publish it as an API

The pipeline becomes a versioned endpoint. Your product calls it with the typed /invoke API or any OpenAI SDK.

Mischief 1 as an API, priced per clip

The Mischief 1 API

Build a pipeline with Mischief 1 on a node and publish it. It becomes a versioned HTTP endpoint: the typed /invoke route enqueues a run and returns a run id to poll, and an OpenAI-compatible route works with SDKs you already use. Agents connect over MCP the same way. Your prompt engineering ships inside the pipeline, so every caller gets your quality, and swapping the model later does not change the API your product calls.

Mischief 1 pricing

Prepaid credits, no subscription. Each clip is charged at Mischief 1's own rate from your balance, shown before you run, and a failed generation costs nothing. Credit packs start at $5 and never expire, which suits spiky production schedules. Run history records the cost of every generation, per node, so spend is auditable rather than a surprise.

Mischief 1, answered

What does Mischief 1 cost?

OpenRouter lists half a cent per second at 480p and one cent at 720p. A 3 second 480p clip is 1.5 cents and a 5 second 720p clip 5 cents of provider cost, and our 3 second test billed exactly the listed rate. On Treza it is charged from prepaid credits, and a failed generation costs nothing.

Can Mischief 1 make a video from text alone?

No. It animates an image you give it as the first frame, and a prompt with no image is refused before anything is billed. For text to video, make the opening frame first with an Image Generation node, or pick a text to video model such as Wan 3.0 or Seedance 2.5.

Can I use Mischief 1 in chat?

Yes. Ask for Mischief 1 by name in Treza chat and give it an image to animate. On the canvas it is a model in the Video Generation node with an image wired in, and the pipeline it sits in can be published as an API endpoint.

How much does Mischief 1 cost on Treza?

Treza uses prepaid credits with no subscription. Each clip is charged at Mischief 1's rate from your balance, and only successful generations are charged. Credit packs start at $5 and never expire.

Can I call Mischief 1 through an API?

Yes. Build a pipeline that uses Mischief 1 and publish it as a versioned HTTP endpoint. Call the typed /invoke API from your product, or point any OpenAI SDK at the OpenAI-compatible endpoint. If a better model ships later, swap it on the node without changing the API your product calls.
